The concept for The Village was inspired by one of Liz’s granddaughters, who has a passion for all things Star Wars.  The design was inspired by the villages of the Ewok characters with their tree fort abodes nestled high in the trees.

The most complex piece to date, The Village cat tree offers a removable, thatched roof hut while hovering at the highest elevation, is a custom-crafted, thatched roof, tiki-hut sling bed.

The Village was built using select fallen logs that have been hand rubbed to a silky finish and boasts numerous vertical, natural sisal scratching areas.

Adorning the upper platform is a natural bamboo fence and angled platform supports. The fencing is finished with natural jute ties.

The platforms of The Village are stained on the underside while the top boasts a thick, soft-grey plush carpet.

And finally, the base is trimmed in natural bamboo and large silk leaves have been thoughtfully added to give the piece a harmonious and aesthetically pleasing balance.

The Village was finished in a semi-transparent, prestige-grey stain. This stain is reminiscent of the silver patina that fallen logs develop when exposed to the various seasons of weather.  Like all stains used on our trees, this soft grey stain is sure to blend harmoniously with any décor.
